A critical examination of "systematist theory" in the face of Western humanities

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to introduce and evaluate the approach of the Academy of Islamic Sciences to Western humanities. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and it is of library type. The findings show that the academy has six main characteristics for Western humanities. This evaluation, plus the civilizational view that this collection has, has caused it to reject all existing approaches to Western humanities. Farhangistan considers only its own approach - systematic theory - to be efficient against Western humanities. The result of this approach is that western sciences cannot be used in the production of Islamic humanities. On the assumption that positive elements are also found in Western civilization, it is inseparable. The mentioned approach - while having some strengths, it has weaknesses, the most important of which are: invalidity of epistemological orientation; the rejection of the combination of motivation and motivation; Failure to pay attention to common needs; Weakness of systematic theory; Contradiction in approach; The predominance of the anti-Western attitude over the attitude of studying the West.
