Abstract

The way God Almighty created and managed the universe is one of the issues that it is not possible for humans to understand in all its aspects; however, humans can understand most of these hidden aspects to the best of their ability by using reason and with the help of the hadiths of the Ahl al-Bayt. As it is stated in some hadiths about the creation and management of the universe and the destiny of creatures, quoted by the righteous imams, peace be upon them: "There is nothing in the earth or in the heavens except for this characteristic of the seven in will." Will, destiny, judgment, permission, book, and proof, so whoever claims that he is capable of a single violation is disbelief. This study, using a descriptive-analytical method, examines the chain of transmission and the evidence of the aforementioned hadith, and explains the seven levels and their relationship to each other. The findings of the study show that these levels are in a longitudinal system and that no action in the universe can be realized outside of this system. By emphasizing the sovereignty of this system over all actions, this hadith negates the Mu'tazilite view of delegation, which believes in the independence of man in his actions. Understanding this precise system, in addition to explaining the way the world was created and planned, also clarifies the place of man's free will in the system of existence.
