Determining and clarifying the method of discovering religious knowledge and its evaluation are among the important issues in the study of religion. In this regard, the question arises whether non-religious human knowledge plays any role in understanding and discovering religious knowledge. In response to this issue, various viewpoints have emerged among Islamic scholars. According to some perspectives, human knowledge plays no role in discovering religious knowledge, while according to another viewpoint, all human knowledge is effective in this regard. Another perspective emphasizes the distinction and separation of religious knowledge from philosophy and mysticism (irfān). One of the viewpoints that has gained many supporters in response to this issue is the perspective of Transcendent Wisdom (Ḥekmat-e Mot'āliyeh). According to this viewpoint, not only philosophy and mysticism, which are considered human sciences, play a role in discovering religious knowledge, but rational proof (philosophy), mysticism, and the Quran are unified, and the content of philosophy and mysticism corresponds with the content of the Noble Quran. In this paper, using a descriptive-analytical method, this viewpoint has been critically examined from various aspects.
